Gay Guatemala is an independant gay portal born in 2000 with help from friends who believed in a way of communication between guatemalan gay people and the rest of the world being the first Gay portal in Central america. We did it without any financial help of any institution in order to maintain our independence from any "organization thought" which usually represent their own interests and not the interests of the "real" gay people.

Gay Guatemala inform, entertain and help people creating and developing frienship ties around the world and being the most important meeting centre of Guatemaltecan gay comunity.

Gay Guatemala does not belong, nor maintained by any organization of any kind, so if you ever received any news of any organization saying that they may represent in any way our website, please let us know immediatelly getting in touch with us.

Gay Guatemala may show or inform about gay organizations and their work, but it does not belong to any of them nor receive any funds from any of them and has never received any.

Gay Guatemala is part of every Guatemalan gay and lesbian and even though our website is recognized by every chilean as the official gay portal we do not feel owners of the truth. So we constantly work for them but do not represent the whole gay community nor any group or organization may represent us.

Gay Guatemala lists free of any charge all of the Guatemalan gay organizations. But it doesnt mean we have any relationship with any of them and their work even though we usually contact people interested in a particular organizations free of charge as a service.
